Job summary

Responsibilities include washing dishes, stocking storerooms, maintaining cleanliness, assisting cooks, and occasionally preparing vegetables or entrees. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related food prep or cooking experience; fluent English required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of directly related food preparation or cooking experience.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.

Responsibilities

• Wash objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. and place them in assigned storage areas in an organized and orderly manner.
• Maintain a variety of products at certain levels in preparation, serving, or storage areas, including service machines.
• Stock storage areas with various products.
• Clean, sweep, wipe down, etc. all general dining, kitchen, or storage areas (in some cases), spike rooms, and equipment as well as all floors.
• Remove garbage from assigned areas, set up or break down tables, snack bars, display cases, serving lines, etc.
• Assist with various periodically scheduled large cleaning projects.
• Assist cooks and others as needed and coordinate one's own activities with others.
• May occasionally prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.
