Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Worker located in a K-12 school in Newtok, Alaska. The role encompasses cleaning, food prep, stocking, and serving duties within a commercial kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of work experience or documented vocational training in cleaning, food prep, or related work preferred.
• Certain positions may require a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes and stores items in an organized manner.
• Maintains products at set levels in prep, serving, or storage areas.
• Stocks storage areas with products.
• Cleans dining, kitchen, or storage areas and floors.
• Removes garbage and sets up tables, snack bars, and serving lines.
• Assists with large cleaning projects as scheduled.
• Assists cooks and coordinates activities with others.
• May occasionally prepare food such as vegetables, sauces, or meats.
• Performs other duties pertinent to the department.
