Job summary

Millard Public Schools is seeking a High School Kitchen Helper for a 10-month, 6-hour-per-day position. Reports to the Kitchen Manager and Production Lead. Assists with meal prep, serving, and kitchen cleanup for students.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience in high-volume food prep is preferred, and a Food Handlers Class must be completed within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in high-volume food preparation and serving preferred.
• Food Handlers class within 30 days of employment.
• Ability to work with students and staff respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals, cooks and bakes, portions.
• Cleans equipment and general kitchen areas.
• Assists with miscellaneous food service duties including cashiering and stocking.
• Serves prepared food to students and supports safe food handling.
