Millard Public Schools in Omaha, NE seeks a part-time Kitchen Helper at Central Middle for the 2026-2027 school year, about 10 months, 6 hours daily (8:00am–2:00pm, Mon–Fri). Duties include meals prep, serving students, and cleanup, with occasional cashier duties and supply handling.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and Food Handlers training within 30 days of hire; school kitchen experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in high-volume food preparation and serving is desirable.
• Food Handlers Class within 30 days of employment is required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepares meals, cooks and bakes, portions food and assists with serving.
• Cleans equipment and kitchen, handles general cleaning duties.
• Acts as cashier for lunch on occasion and assists with supplies and packaging for shipment to other kitchens.
• Serves prepared food to students and maintains positive interactions with staff and students.
