Job summary

NANA Management Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to join a school kitchen role. You will perform cleaning, food preparation, stocking, and serving duties in a busy dining or serving area.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, maintaining clean storage and service areas, and assisting cooks as needed. The job requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certain positions may require a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc., and stores them properly.
• Maintains products at required levels and assists with food prep and service.
• Stocks storage areas with various products.
• Cleans dining, kitchen, or storage areas and floors; handles waste.
• Assists with large cleaning projects and coordinates with others.
• May occasionally prepare food or assist in cooking as needed.
• Other department duties as assigned.
