Job summary

NANA Management Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform cleaning, maintenance, food preparation, stocking, and serving duties in a school kitchen, storeroom, dining, or serving area.

Responsibilities include cleaning dishes and areas, stocking supplies, assisting cooks, and possibly preparing simple foods. The role requires coordination with team members and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of work experience or vocational training in cleaning, food preparation, or related tasks.
• Driver's license may be required for some positions.

Responsibilities

• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc., and stores them in assigned areas in an orderly manner.
• Maintains products at proper levels in prep, serving, or storage areas including service machines.
• Stocks storage areas with various products.
• Cleans, sweeps, wipes down, etc., all dining, kitchen, or storage areas; floors.
• Removes garbage from assigned areas and sets up or breaks down tables and serving lines.
• Assists with periodically scheduled large cleaning projects.
• Assists cooks and coordinates activities with others.
• May occasionally prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, sauces, meats, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
