Job summary

Parkway Schools is seeking a Technology Specialist I to support classroom and staff technology across our Northeast Middle School location in St. Louis, MO. This year-round role involves hands-on hardware maintenance, account support, and ticketing coordination, ensuring reliable instructional tech for students and staff.

Starting pay is $21.12 per hour with increases based on verifiable experience. This non-exempt, on-site position offers a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Job related experience in a customer-facing service role is desired.
• Experience in Information Technology environments is a plus.
• Experience in K-12 public education industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to district procedures and escalation protocols to ensure consistent support outcomes.
• Attends hardware for classrooms, offices, and assigned users to prepare technology resources.
• Documents and manages support requests in the ticketing system from intake to resolution.
• Engages in professional development and feedback to increase technical proficiency.
• Maintains local technology inventory and workspace organization to prevent loss and ensure access to spare parts.
• Resolves software, account, and connectivity issues to restore access for students and staff.
• Serves as the primary on-site point of contact for Technology issues and on-site support requests.
• Transports equipment and supplies to facilitate movement of IT assets.
• Performs other related duties to ensure efficient functioning of the unit.
