Job summary

Kent Denver School is seeking an Assistant Technology Director to partner with the Director of Technology in managing enterprise infrastructure, IT support, and data systems. The role includes hands-on leadership to ensure uptime, security, and seamless hardware integration across divisions.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong customer service to support faculty, staff, students, vendors, and parents while advancing the school's technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive IT experience, ideally in education or multi-site setting.
• Mastery of network routing, cloud systems administration, database management, and cross‑platform hardware support.
• Experience in an independent school, higher education, or mission‑driven organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus-wide hardware lifecycles, deployment, and maintenance for access control, surveillance, PA systems, and radio.
• Maintain core network architecture: Wi‑Fi, fiber, switches, and firewalls.
• Manage the School’s MDM (JAMF School) usage.
• Manage system performance to improve reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, standards, and procedures.
