Job summary

SSC Services for Education within Compass Group USA is hiring an HVAC Maintenance Technician for Moore Public Schools, Moore, OK. The role covers a range of maintenance duties across HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, with supervision by a foreman or master mechanic.

A valid Journeyman Electrical License or EPA refrigerant certification, plus 5 years’ institutional experience, are required. The position is full-time, on-site with a schedule Monday–Friday; overtime possibles.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting.
• Valid Journeyman Electrical License or EPA Refrigerant certification or Journeyman Plumber License.
• Experience with blueprints and schematics; valid driver’s license.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor.

Responsibilities

• Performs a mixed workload of preventative maintenance and non-complex reactive repairs.
• Updates work statuses and documents tasks completed in the CMMS.
• Helps determine manpower, material needs, and deadlines for jobs and projects.
• Maintains HVAC, electrical and mechanical building systems and related equipment.
