Marin Primary & Middle School is seeking an HR Manager to oversee payroll, HR administration, and benefits on a full-time basis at our Larkspur campus. The role ensures compliance with federal and state requirements while supporting the employee experience.

Collaboration with CFOO and HR consultants is essential. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll/HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with Paylocity HRIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of payroll and human resources experience.
• Experience with Paylocity HRIS and payroll software highly preferred.
• Experience with benefits administration.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule for all staff.
• Administer the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Administer employee benefits including health/dental/vision, 403(b), and open enrollment.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and California regulations; manage audits.
• Support HR initiatives and maintain HR policies and reporting.
