Job summary

Mesa Public Schools seeks a detail‑oriented health services professional to administer health services for students and staff. You will provide first aid, medication administration, and emergency care according to district policies.

The role requires a CPR certificate, a Medical Assistant or EMT Level 1 credential, and familiarity with immunization requirements. You will document findings and maintain confidential health records while collaborating with nurses and school staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified and Nationally Registered Medical Assistant or EMT Level 1 with CPR.
• Working knowledge of immunization requirements per Arizona State Law.
• Moderate typing proficiency; knowledge of computer applications preferred (Synergy).

Responsibilities

• Assess immediate condition and prioritize care per district guidelines.
• Deliver emergency care and monitor students at the school site.
• Administer medications per physician orders and parent consent.
• Record data and maintain health records with confidentiality.
• Prepare immunization tracking and required reporting paperwork.
• Collaborate with nurses, staff, and families for student health needs.
