Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island is seeking an RN to provide on-site health services to students and staff. The role includes managing student health needs, responding to emergencies, and promoting wellness within a culturally competent care framework.

You will develop individualized care plans, assess behavioral health needs, and provide treatment and referrals while ensuring PHI compliance. Hybrid work possible with remote capacity as required.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in RI.
• Experience in residential healthcare or care management.
• Experience with children, adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient with medical records software and related hardware.
• Bilingual/ASL skills compensated; multilingualism compensated above base pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services to students and staff.
• Promote overall wellness and safe school environment.
• Manage student health needs and respond to emergencies.
• Develop and manage comprehensive, individualized care plans.
• Assess behavioral health and substance use needs and provide treatment/referral services.
• Provide medical case management oversight and PHI-compliant procedures.
