Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required or must be obtained within 5 years of date of hire.
• RN licensure and BLS certification required.
• 1–2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in pediatrics and school healthcare preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Provide school health services as directed by department and contracts.
• Deliver clinical care within the department, including routine, special needs, and emergency first aid.
• Maintain student health records and document services rendered.
• Participate in educational activities of the department and hospital.
• Communicate effectively with management, parents/guardians, school authorities, and allied personnel.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide care for physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of patients served.
• Ensure compliance with departmental/school/state and federal policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required.
