Job summary

Diocese of Allentown is seeking a School Nurse for Notre Dame High School in Easton, PA. You will organize the school health clinic, conduct health screenings, and provide direct nursing care to students and staff in a Catholic school setting.

The role involves promoting a safe health environment, coordinating with families and physicians, and maintaining confidential health records in compliance with school policies. Monday–Friday, full-time position.

Qualifications

• BSN or RN license required.
• Current First Aid and CPR Training Certification.
• Prior nursing experience with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the school health clinic; requisition supplies and equipment.
• Perform health screenings (vision, hearing, dental, scoliosis, BP) and interpret findings.
• Provide direct nursing care: medications, immunizations, first aid, emergency care; accompany students to hospital when needed.
• Monitor student health, refer to professionals as needed, communicate with families and staff.
• Maintain health records and ensure compliance with health policies and IEP/IHP.
