Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Health Assistant to administer health services for students and staff at Webster Elementary. The role includes first aid, medication administration, and emergency care within district guidelines.

The position is full-time (35 hours per week) with benefits including sick leave and health coverage. Starting Date TBD; annual compensation is based on an hourly rate of $19.89.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant or EMT-1 with current CPR.
• Immunization requirements knowledge per Arizona State Law.
• Moderate typing speed; comfortable with computer systems (Synergy preferred).

Responsibilities

• Administers first aid, medications, and emergency care as needed.
• Perform emergency care assessment and treatment at the school site.
• Manage health records, immunization tracking, and reporting per district policy.
• Monitor students with chronic conditions and provide care within scope of practice.
