Job summary

Enidchamber is seeking a School Health Aide to support the school nurse by providing basic first aid, managing health records, and assisting with student care. The role includes helping with medications under nurse direction, conducting screenings, monitoring chronic conditions, and maintaining confidential health information.

Responsibilities include health room operations, clerical tasks, data entry for state reports, and communication with parents and staff about student health needs.

Qualifications

• Basic first aid and patient care protocols.
• Administering delegated medications as directed by the nurse.
• Maintaining health records, immunization logs, and student data.
• Assisting with vision/hearing screenings and chronic condition monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assist with student care including personal needs and daily health checks.
• Maintain and file health office records and inventory of supplies.
• Support screenings and monitor immunization compliance with staff.
• Notify parents of illnesses or health concerns and document visits.
• Provide emergency care until a nurse or clinician arrives.
• Follow district policies and physician instructions under supervision.
