Job summary

Washoe County School District seeks a Clinical Aide to assist in the health services program, under the supervision of the School Nurse. Responsibilities include providing first aid, administering CPR in emergencies, and managing student health records and immunization data.

The role involves assisting with medication administration under nurse direction, performing delegated nursing procedures, and supporting health education and health office operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing first aid and performing delegable nursing tasks in a school setting.
• Ability to maintain student health records and records of immunizations.
• Licenses/certifications to possess Heartsaver AED CPR and First Aid within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and CPR according to district policies and AHA/ARC standards.
• Assist students with physician-prescribed medications under nurse direction; perform delegated nursing procedures.
• Support the School Nurse with screenings, data entry, and health records management.
