The worker will perform tasks such as lawn care, snow removal, basic maintenance, and assisting with work orders, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to read basic operating instructions.
• Aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
• Some heavy lifting may be required (up to 75 lbs.)
• Alternatives to qualifications as the Board may find appropriate or acceptable.

Aufgaben

• Keeps building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways and play areas, neat and clean at all times.
• Assists in completing Grounds and Maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
• Shovels and plows sidewalks, driveways, parking areas and steps as appropriate.
• Assists in keeping sprinkler systems maintained as appropriate.
• Ensures all outside trash receptacles are emptied daily.
• Performs groundskeeping: grass cutting, tree trimming and flowerbed tending.
• Assists in summer preventive maintenance programs for the schools; may repaint, sand, finish, strip, wax floors; minor carpentry.
• Other duties as assigned and adheres to laws and regulations.
