Job summary

Open Sky Education is seeking a Custodian to help maintain clean classrooms and grounds at our Wisconsin campuses. The role requires teamwork, adherence to policies, and a focus on safety across facilities.

The custodian will assist with lawn care, snow removal, and occasional cafeteria support, while acting as a positive biblical representative in daily interactions with students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• A minimum of one year of custodial experience.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team member to create a wonderful school environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in classrooms and around campus.
• Follow Open Sky policies, procedures, and applicable laws (OSHA, ADA, etc.).
• Perform preventative maintenance and maintain safety awareness.
• Observe property conditions and report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Engage with students and be a positive role model.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and manage supplies inventory.
• Assist with lawncare, snow removal, and grounds upkeep as needed.
• Support cafeteria operations as a second server when required.
• Collaborate with regional facilities for maintenance needs.
