Job summary

Open Sky Education is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain classrooms and campus cleanliness under the supervision of Operations leadership. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and engagement with students to foster a welcoming school environment.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, trash/removal, seasonal grounds work, and supporting cafeteria operations where needed, with adherence to school policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• At least 1 year custodial experience preferred.

• Meet all physical demands of the position.

• Strong commitment to cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order in classrooms and campus.
• Work as a team member and engage with students.
• Follow Open Sky policies, procedures, and applicable laws (OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing).
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety measures; report unsafe conditions.
• Conduct grounds maintenance, including lawncare, snow removal, and trash management.
• Assist in cafeteria operations as needed; support school operations.
