Job summary

Impactcs seeks a daytime school custodian in Madison, WI to perform custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and restroom restocking. This full-time role reports to the Maintenance Manager to keep facilities clean for uninterrupted education use.

Responsibilities include room setup for events, loading supplies, and assisting in exterior maintenance and snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of custodial principals, practices, and safety.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a clean facility.

Responsibilities

• Dust, mop floors, vacuum carpets, and clean restrooms.
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness of lockers and surfaces.
• Assist with setup for events and lunch/cafeteria spaces daily.
• Load/unload supplies and perform basic grounds maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and operate custodial equipment properly.
