L’Anse Creuse Public Schools is seeking a Food & Nutrition Substitute for all schools. This is a part-time role within the district’s nutrition program, supporting meal preparation, serving, and daily sanitation.

Responsibilities include assisting in food prep per menus, serving students and staff, cleaning and sanitizing areas, and stepping in for absent staff across roles. Strong communication and safety standards are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn safety procedures per MI-OSHA.
• Capacity to pass Health Department permits as required.
• Participate in professional development.

Responsabilités

• Assist in food preparation according to menus and guidelines.
• Serve meals to students and staff promptly and cordial.
• Clean and sanitize food areas and equipment.
• Fill in for absent staff in other kitchen roles.
• Interact positively with students and staff.
