Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain Health Department Handling Permits as required.
• Be prepared to participate in ongoing Professional Development.
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn safety rules and MI-OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute meals according to approved menu and daily demand.
• Clean equipment, spaces and utensils after serving and return to proper area.
• Maintain records and reports as directed.
• Inventory food items periodically as directed.
• Prepare meals for meetings and events as part of extra time.
• Report to work timely and work extra time as approved.
• Perform major cleaning of refrigerators and storerooms on scheduled intervals.
• All other duties as assigned.
