Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dependable Food Service Worker / Prep to join our team. You will prep food for breakfast and lunch service and serve meals to students, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and following food safety procedures.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude, enjoy working around students, and can stand for extended periods. Previous food service is preferred but not required; training provided. Schedule is Monday–Friday, daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Food service or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 30–40 pounds.
• Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working around students.
• Must follow all company and school food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prep food for breakfast and lunch service.
• Assist with preparing sandwiches, salads, fruit, and other menu items.
• Set up and stock the serving line.
• Serve breakfast and lunch to students.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Keep the kitchen, prep areas, and serving areas clean and organized.
• Wash dishes and assist with general kitchen cleanup as needed.
• Follow FIFO procedures; properly label, date, and store food.
