Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to assist with meal preparation and serving for students and staff. You will help with cutting, peeling, bagging, stocking, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

You will operate various kitchen equipment and ensure food safety standards are followed. Responsibilities include serving on the food line, replenishing food, and performing other duties as assigned by the Food Services Director or Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• Assist with food preparation duties such as cutting, peeling, and bagging.
• Serve students, staff, and peers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely (ovens, stoves, mixers).
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment at all times by washing dishes and cleaning areas.
• Adhere to food safety standards and proper storage to prevent contamination.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
• Serve meals and replenish food on serving lines as needed.
• Stock supplies, cashiering, and other duties as assigned.
