The Baldwin School is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to provide routine, preventive, and corrective upkeep of buildings and campus grounds in Montgomery County, PA. The role supports a safe, well-maintained environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities include painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, grounds care, and participation in preventive maintenance programs. Candidates must be 18+, physically capable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions; to perform basic math calculations.
• Familiar with or willing to learn CMMS.
• General mechanical aptitude and a positive customer service approach.
• Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
• Work inside and outside and be exposed to varying environmental conditions.
• Stand for extended periods and climb a ladder.
• Valid PA driver's license and ability to operate school vehicles and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance tasks such as painting, light carpentry, drywall repair, basic plumbing, electrical work, and grounds maintenance.
• Participate in facility preventative maintenance programs.
• Accountable for and abides by the standards set forth in The Baldwin School Employee Handbook.
• Maintain confidentiality and rights of student, family, employee, and facility information in compliance with policies and applicable regulations.
• Maintain a safe work environment and exhibit safe workplace best practices.
• Interact positively and cooperatively with students, families, visitors and other staff.
• Perform all duties in compliance with all applicable Federal and State rules and regulations and facility policies and procedures.
• Accepts assigned duties in a cooperative manner and willingly performs other duties as assigned.
