Job summary

Responsibilities include basic plumbing and electrical work, HVAC filter maintenance, general building upkeep, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and equipment safety.

Qualifications

• General building maintenance knowledge.
• Basic plumbing and electrical skills.
• Ability to operate lawn and grounds-maintenance equipment.
• Basic computer/technology skills.
• Identify maintenance issues and know when to seek help.
• Good communication and organization skills.
• Dependable, punctual, able to work with students, staff and public.
• Experience in maintenance roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Change, clean, and maintain HVAC filters and assist with basic HVAC maintenance.
• Perform basic electrical maintenance: replace bulbs, outlets, switches, other minor components.
• General building maintenance and repairs.
• Operate lawn equipment and maintain grounds.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and outdoor maintenance.
• Assist with technology-related maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Inspect buildings and report safety concerns.
• Move furniture, equipment and supplies as needed.
• Maintain tools and work areas safely and orderly.
