Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking a Facilities/Maintenance professional to perform building preventative and outdoor maintenance across district schools. Responsibilities include interior repairs, outdoor upkeep, and responding to service calls.

This role may be reassigned to other district schools to cover vacancies and requires a willingness to work in elementary, middle, and high school settings.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma.
• No professional work experience required.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance tasks including cleaning, graffiti removal, wall patching and painting, internal moving, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Support school activities by setting up, tearing down, and cleaning up; open buildings at established times.
• Perform outdoor maintenance such as sweeping steps, entryways, trash pickup, snow/ice removal, and annual pressure washing of exterior sidewalks.
• Respond to school radio and phone service calls; may perform emergency biohazard cleanups.
• Audit facilities and report maintenance needs to the appropriate department.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
