Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform building preventative and outdoor maintenance across district properties. This role involves hands-on tasks in elementary, middle, and high schools, with the possibility of temporary reassignment to cover vacancies.

You will handle cleaning, minor repairs, snow removal, and event setup, while ensuring safety and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance tasks including cleaning, graffiti removal, wall patching and painting, minor electrical/plumbing/HVAC as needed.
• Support school activities and events by setting up, tearing down, and cleaning up.
• Perform outdoor maintenance including sweeping, trash pickup, snow/ice removal, pressure washing exterior sidewalks annually.
• Respond to service requests via radio and cell phone; may perform emergency biohazard cleanups.
• Audit facilities and report maintenance needs to the appropriate supporting entity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
