Job summary

The Apache Junction Unified School District is seeking a Cactus Canyon Building Manager to oversee custodial operations, maintenance, and safety for the school facilities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3–5 years related experience or equivalent
• Experience supervising custodial staff preferable
• Knowledge of building maintenance basics and safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Sets Custodians' schedules and standards for cleanliness.
• Cleans and maintains building and grounds, inventories, and equipment.
• Operates cleaning equipment and uses chemicals safely.
• Performs minor repairs and routine maintenance (painting, plumbing, electrical).
• Notifies supervisor for major repairs or district maintenance needs.
• Opens school early and assists with events; supervises custodial crew.
