Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years of experience in building maintenance or related field preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Experience with snow plowing and grounds maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs to school buildings, grounds, equipment, and furnishings.
• Complete work orders involving carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical, masonry, drywall, flooring, and general building repairs.
• Assist with inspection, maintenance, and minor repair of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and grounds to identify maintenance and safety concerns.
• Perform seasonal grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, landscaping, leaf removal, and general upkeep.
• Perform snow and ice removal from sidewalks, entrances, parking lots, driveways, and other district property.
