Job summary

Hopkinton Public School District in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, is seeking a Maintenance Worker for a full-time evening shift (2:00 PM–10:00 PM) with a wage range of $25.19 to $28.82 per hour. Immediate start date is anticipated.

Qualifications

Physical ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports.
A demonstrated aptitude for completing assigned tasks.
Ability to operate, service and maintain power equipment and hand tools.
Alternatives to the above qualifications may be acceptable as determined by district leadership.

Responsibilities

Maintain doors, windows, plumbing fixtures, valves, drains, and related systems in good order.
Ensure electrical safety and integrity of equipment from origin, within legal limits.
Repair or replace damaged building components as directed.
Assist with snow removal and de-icing with custodial staff.
Operate grounds maintenance equipment for mowing and landscaping.
Monitor and report irregular conditions to the Director of Facilities.
Maintain an orderly stock of supplies and requisition as needed.
Transport goods within and between facilities.
