Job summary

Achievers Early College Prep Charter School in New Jersey is seeking a Facilities and Maintenance Manager to ensure reliable operations across AECP sites. The role requires coordinating with internal teams and external providers to keep buildings safe, clean, and functional.

You will oversee boiler systems, equipment maintenance, and site inspections, with a schedule that includes early shifts and occasional evenings.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance/operations at industrial or commercial sites.
• Boiler Operator Certification is preferred or willingness to obtain within a reasonable time after date of hire.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 30lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AECP facilities operations and coordinate with vendors for maintenance.
• Maintain boilers, life safety, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Attend evening events as assigned and supervise site tasks.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper documentation of inspections.
• Maintain logs for boilers, detectors, and fire safety equipment.
• Manage procurement and inventory of maintenance supplies.
