Job summary

Anderson School District 3 seeks a Maintenance Engineer to support district buildings, facilities, and grounds. The role involves skilled maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive tasks to ensure safe and functional schools.

You will work with the Director of Maintenance and team to deliver timely, dependable service across the district while upholding safety and district procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• General knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and skilled maintenance, repairs, and improvements to district buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds.
• Troubleshoots and repairs building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and inspections to extend facility life.
• Responds promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to keep facilities safe.
• Assists with installation, replacement, and repair of equipment, fixtures, doors, and plumbing/electrical components.
• Receives and executes work orders from the Director of Maintenance.
