Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Six or more months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs.
• Proficiency in operating custodial cleaning equipment.
• Effective presentation of information in one-on-one and small groups.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school buildings in clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Monitor boilers and HVAC systems for appropriate heating and cooling.
• Carry out daily cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Coordinate with staff on events, setups, and coverage.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of chemicals; maintain safety logs.
• Plan cleaning schedules and manage supplies; train new custodians.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC units and perform routine checks.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for activities and events.
