Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Building Management and Maintenance and five years of full-time experience, three in a supervisory capacity

Equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by A and B

Responsibilities

Supervise cleaning and custodial activities using green cleaning technology and materials
Schedule work assignments for staff
Oversee maintenance and repair of boilers and related equipment
Plan and train building engineers and staff on district-wide energy management
Coordinate with outside vendors to train staff on energy management systems
Advise on boiler operation and assist with safety compliance
Prepare budget estimates for plant operations including salaries, contracts, and equipment
Schedule use of school facilities and athletic fields
Maintain records on plant operations, maintenance, safety, and accidents
