Job summary

Holy Cross Regional Catholic School in Collegeville, PA, seeks a Maintenance Director to oversee daily maintenance, safety, and upkeep of facilities. The role is hands‑on and requires coordinating custodial services, managing outside vendors, and long‑term planning for buildings and grounds.

You will work with the Principal, Pastor, and Facilities Committee, handle after‑hours emergencies, and lead projects from planning to completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, maintenance management, custodial operations, or a related field.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and coordinate outside vendors.
• Strong communication, recordkeeping, and follow‑up skills.
• Availability to respond to after‑hours emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, hands‑on maintenance and minor repairs throughout the school building and grounds.
• Coordinate vendor/contractor relationships for maintenance, cleaning, and improvements.
• Oversee janitorial services and supervise Custodial Contracted Personnel.
• Manage projects from planning through completion and maintain schedules.
• Develop and execute summer cleaning and maintenance plans.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records and schedules.
