Job summary

Assumption Catholic Church is seeking a dependable Facilities Director to oversee maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and overall care of our parish buildings and grounds. This hands-on role supervises maintenance staff, coordinates service contracts, and works with parish leadership to keep the campus welcoming and well maintained.

The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, able to work independently, and demonstrate strong teamwork.

Qualifications

Experience managing church or facility maintenance operations.
Strong supervisory and organizational skills.
Ability to coordinate service contracts and vendors.

Responsibilities

Oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of parish buildings and facilities.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including painting and other building-related projects.
Oversee operation and maintenance of boilers, heating and cooling systems, and other building equipment as qualified.
Monitor service contracts and maintenance agreements for elevators, fire extinguishers, mechanical systems, security systems and other facility needs.
Help create and implement a comprehensive plan to keep parish buildings and grounds in good repair and condition.
Use equipment safely and maintain equipment in fully operational condition.
