Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. (CPLC) seeks a Facilities Custodian to keep offices, classrooms and grounds clean, safe and compliant with program standards.

You will perform daily cleaning, maintenance, inspections, and supply control, while supporting the Center Service Manager with scheduling and workflows. Responsibilities include replenishing supplies, sanitizing facilities, performing minor repairs, and coordinating with staff on safety issues and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• High School/GED and 6 months of custodial experience required.
• Knowledge of maintenance, inventory and purchasing supplies.
• This position requires driving on behalf of the company with valid license and acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow a routine maintenance schedule with the Center Service Manager.
• Replenish tissue and paper towels throughout the center.
• Sanitize toilets and clean all center facilities daily.
• Empty and sanitize trash containers as per licensing requirements.
• Clean windows inside and outside, including entry doors.
• Perform basic repairs and assist with facility maintenance as needed.
• Assist with playground and outdoor toy maintenance.
