Job summary

Potterville Public Schools’ Potterville Elementary School in Potterville, Michigan is seeking a dedicated Custodian to support routine and preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and timely handling of work orders. The role reports to the Building Principal and offers full benefits with pay rate commensurate with experience.

Starting date is immediate, with ongoing opportunities for training and meetings to align with district facilities goals.

Responsibilities

• Preforms routine and preventative maintenance as needed
• Monitor and prioritize assigned work orders to ensure timely completion and minimal disruption to the learning environments
• Maintain records and document repairs as required
• Maintain all safety and code requirements set by the state, locally and by the district
• Cleaning duties must be preformed as necessary
• Complete all safety training that is required annually
• Participate in meetings, workshops, trainings, and seminars, and as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to preform job functions
• The ability to preform other duties as assigned by the Director of Facilities (or designess in his/her absence)
