Job summary

Paradise Elementary (PK-6) in Ball, Louisiana is seeking a Custodian to maintain all campus facilities, grounds, and equipment. This full-time position offers year-round work and a starting salary listed in the district’s custodian schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning, maintaining, and repairing facilities as needed, following district policies, and coordinating with custodial supervisors. Immediate start is available.

Qualifications

• Skilled in the maintenance of school district building facilities, equipment, and grounds relative to caring, cleaning, repairing and replacing
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance activities of building facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by head custodian, building evaluator, or custodial supervisor.
• Follow state, school board and school policies relative to the safety and security of buildings, equipment and supplies.
• Maintain and/or prepare equipment and supplies as necessary for various

• Work cooperatively with other custodial staff, head custodian, building evaluator, custodial supervisor, and other school district personnel as necessary to perform assigned duties.

• Attend in-service training as required by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the custodial supervisor and/or building evaluator
