Responsibilities

• Assist the plant manager with safety, security, cleanliness, and appearance of the school facilities.
• Open and secure the building; operate HVAC in the absence of the engineer; supervise custodial staff and inspect their work.
• Perform light maintenance tasks (faucet handles, switches, door knobs, painting); assist with yard care and trash removal.
• Prepare rooms for activities; set up for assemblies; raise and lower flags; cover shifts as needed.
• Report issues to the principal, maintain logs, and ensure daily communications with school administration.
