Edgecombe County Public Schools in Tarboro, NC seeks a Custodian I School-Based to maintain cleanliness of school facilities under general supervision. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and preparing requisitions.

Requires some custodial experience and a valid NC driver’s license; CDL may be required to drive district vehicles. The role may involve locking/unlocking buildings, light maintenance, and adherence to safety policies.

Formación

• Some custodial experience; or any equivalent training and experience.
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a CDL license.
• Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, strips, waxes and buffs floor surfaces.
• Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies; cleans windows and fixtures.
• Empties trash and polices grounds for debris; shovels snow or applies de-icing compounds as needed.
• Prepares requisitions for cleaning supplies; may drive district vehicles.
