Job summary

The role requires physical stamina, ability to follow instructions, and basic computer skills to log tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and prior custodial experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of custodial experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and safety practices.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and restocks restrooms.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
• Prepares classrooms and facilities for events and regular use; moves furniture as needed.
• Sanitizes and dusts furniture and surfaces; maintains cleanliness of walls and ceilings.
• Open/close buildings, turn off alarms and secure doors/windows at end of shift.
• Maintain records, submit work orders and participate in safety trainings.
