Job summary

Butler Community College is seeking a Custodial Technician to maintain cleanliness of classrooms, laboratories, offices, lobbies and restrooms, and to support campus events by setting up furniture. This full-time role reports to the Lead Custodian and Custodial Supervisor to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be neat and clean and take pride in workmanship.
• Must establish good rapport with students, faculty and public.
• Must be flexible to accommodate college events, work split shifts, late hours and weekends.
• Must have knowledge of chemical products use and storage.
• Flexible in working hours and able to work overtime and adapt to unscheduled activities.

Responsibilities

• Deep cleaning of classrooms, labs, offices, lobbies and restrooms.
• Set up and tear down furniture for lectures, conferences and athletic events.
• Assist with general custodial duties and other tasks as assigned.
