Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper cleaning methods.
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of hand and power custodial tools/equipment.
• Knowledge of safety policies and safe work practices.
• Basic English knowledge.

• Safety equipment usage when needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes and restocks restrooms.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
• Prepares classrooms, rooms and facilities for events; moves desks and equipment.
• Sanitizes, dusts and polishes furniture and surfaces.
• Washes doors, windows and walls.
• Maintains safety of hallways and common areas.
• Disposes of rubbish and debris; empties bins.
• Opens/unlocks buildings and turns off alarms; closes doors and windows.
• Follows label instructions to mix/dilute cleaners.
