Job summary

Cobb County School District in Marietta, GA is looking for a reliable Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities.

The position follows the Operational Support division within the Maintenance Services department, paying on a classified hourly schedule with bi-weekly pay. Candidates should be prepared for medium to heavy physical activity and routine duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
• Cleans specified areas of building as outlined by Principal or Head Custodian of the school.
• Cares for school grounds as directed.
• Changes light bulbs in ceilings up to 10 feet in height.
• Cleans entire building regardless of ceiling heights, including dining areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate designee.
