Job summary

Tutu School San Bruno seeks a dynamic individual to manage, organize, and host monthly events and birthday parties at our Burlingame and San Bruno locations. Candidates should have a strong dance background, especially ballet, excellent communication, and a passion for our curriculum focused on nurturing young dancers.

Responsibilities include leading themed parties, managing attendance, engaging with families, and handling basic retail duties within a child-friendly studio.

Job Summary

At Tutu School, we look for magic makers. On our team, we want hearts that never stop twirling and minds that thrive on creativity. We require our teachers to have a strong background in dance, great communication skills, and a commitment to our carefully crafted curriculum. Most of all, we want instructors who are invested in nurturing the big dreams of little dancers.However, this position is unique. We are looking for someone to manage, organize, and host monthly events and birthday parties at our two locations: Burlingame and San Bruno.

Responsibilities

• Lead, host, manage, organize monthly themed parties, as well as, any booked birthday parties following Tutu School's carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport and communication with students' families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred
• High school or equivalent is preferred
• Teaching experience is preferred
