Job summary

Tutu School in California seeks a School Event Coordinator to plan and host monthly themed events and birthday parties at Burlingame and San Bruno locations. You will coordinate logistics, manage attendance, and engage families to showcase the magic of our curriculum.

Ideal candidates bring ballet experience, good communication, and a eagerness to work with young dancers. The role also includes light retail duties and maintaining a welcoming studio environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred.
• High school or equivalent is preferred.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, host, manage, organize monthly themed parties and booked birthday parties following the curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport and communication with students’ families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.
