Job summary

Tutu School is seeking an enthusiastic School Event Coordinator to plan and host monthly events and birthday parties at our Burlingame and San Bruno studios. You will manage attendance, answer questions about memberships, and build rapport with families.

The role requires event planning experience, a ballet background, and strong communication. You will also handle light retail tasks, keep spaces tidy, and collaborate with management to deliver a magical experience for young dancers.

Qualifications

• Event planning and outreach background strongly preferred.
• Experience in dancing with a ballet background is strongly preferred.
• High school or equivalent is preferred.
• Teaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly themed events, as well as, any booked birthday parties following Tutu School’s carefully crafted Class Curriculum.
• Take attendance and answer basic questions about class membership and promotions.
• Build rapport and communication with students’ families and prospective clients.
• Perform basic retail duties including product restocking and processing sales using a point-of-sale system.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the studio, lobby, retail display, and bathroom.
• Communicate effectively with management and administration.
